The ZIM VIRGINIA makes her first call at DP World Tarragona

In the early hours of this morning, February 12, the Israeli Flagship ZIM VIRGINIA arrived at the DP World Tarragona facilities.
The more than 300 planned movements were initiated shortly after the docking manoeuvre, and will continue throughout much of the day.
The ZIM VIRGINIA is a 287 meters long, 34 meters in breadth container ship that was launched in 2002 at the Hyundai shipyard and has a capacity of more than 4,000 TEU.
The cargo ship, from the Port of Halifax in Canada, will depart at 06:00 a.m. to complete her journey to the Haifa Port.
With this maiden voyage, DP World Tarragona becomes part of a transoceanic route on a weekly basis, which includes the following calls:
Haifa (Israel), Livorno (Italy), Genoa (Italy), Tarragona, Halifax (Canada), New York (USA), Savannah (USA), Kingston (Jamaica), The Panama Canal, Los Angeles (USA), Oakland (USA), Shekou (China), Hong Kong (China), Ningbo (China), Shanghai (China), Pusan (Korea), Balboa (Panama), The Panama Canal, Kingston (Jamaica), Savannah (USA), New York (USA), Halifax (Canada), Tarragona and Haifa (Israel).
