More surface for a better service

Tarragona, Spain, XX June, 2010:- DP World Tarragona has increased the terminal’s gross floor area by 8,000 m2 in the latest stage of completed works undertaken by the contractors Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas. This latest investment in the terminal expansion will give way to dramatic improvements in the services offered by DP World Tarragona. The new extension will be prepared for operations with reach-stackers whilst awaiting the next 16,000m2 which is due for completion in July and which will be equipped with RTGs (Rubber Tyred Gantry cranes.) Oscar Rodriguez, General Manager of DP World Tarragona said, “These improvements are a significant step forward for DP World Tarragona and it demonstrates our commitment to quality performance and excellent service for our customers.”
